Vienna Beethoven Competition 2024

Vienna Beethoven Competition 2024 for singers is an international singing competition that will take place from 19 to 20 September 2024 at the Ehrbar Palais in Vienna. This competition offers talented singers from all over the world the opportunity to showcase their skills in front of a renowned jury and win major prizes. The competition is open to professional singers as well as advanced vocal students aged 18 to 45.

The competition is divided into three exciting rounds. In the first round, which takes place online, participants submit their documents and recordings for evaluation. These materials are reviewed by an experienced jury. Successful applicants will be invited to the second round, which will be held on-site in Vienna on September 19, 2024. This round offers participants the opportunity to showcase their skills live. The final round on September 20, 2024, is also the concluding gala concert and will be held in front of an audience.

Participants must submit a resume, a recent photo, recordings of two different arias, and a copy of their passport or ID card during registration. A participation fee of 50 euros is also required at the time of registration. The registration deadline is September 5, 2024. The second round will take place in the historic Ehrbar Palais in Vienna, a venue with excellent acoustics and a long history as a centre for musical events. The 24 participants in the second round will perform live in front of the jury to qualify for the final.
